February 2008

Real Estate of South Bay is officially open. The new company has both recent sales and a new member Kay Grundhaus. Kay brings five years of experience and already is a valuable asset. The market continues to be a challenge with lenders continuing to stiffen loan qualifying. Area sales are picking up and perhaps our market is showing signs life.

UCI Menes volleyball is defending their national championship. Early this year my son Taylor was named NCAA player of the week. Unfortunately Taylor has a stressed fracture in his foot and is currently UN available to the team. We will be traveling with the team to Hawaii to watch UCI take on the University of Hawaii.

Team old Dirty Racing has completed one stage rally and is currently in class first place.

Mary and I want to thank all of our clients over the years and hope all is well with everyone. We are working to continue success with the new company for years to come.

Hi All

Thanks for stopping by.

Mary and I were born and raised in the South Bay area. We both choose a career in real estate early on and have continued to find success in the ever changing economic climate. We have worked with Re/Max since 1990 and are both members of Re/Max hall of fame.

January one we are opening a new company "Real Estate of South Bay" Our goal is to own  a small professional company that will provide our clients the experience that only a combined 50 years in the real estate business can bring.  We will be providing brokerage service for buyers and sellers as well as property management.

The R.E. market continues to be slow with more homes on the market then buyers. The government is looking into a bailout program to slow down the current high foreclosure numbers. It allays surprises me that when the market is hot lenders will make almost any loan and that when the market predictably adjusts they cry that they need government assistance to survive?

Mary and I have been successful selling homes during the down market; we know what it takes to sell homes in adverse markets.  I do not see a quick recovery for the market, probably not until 2009.

I just finished the 2007 California Rally Series and like 2006 again finished third in my class.  (Rally is a off road race against the clock) For more racing information please visit CaliforniaRallySeries.com and OldDirtyRacing.com . My enjoyment in life other then my family comes from both track and rally racing and playing guitar in various blues bands in the south bay.
